imo, and I do NOT feel this way myself, the white culture they want is the 50s when white MEN had it good and everyone else was, at least, marginalized if not worse and some much worse.

You know that moment in It’s a Wonderful Life where George gets to see what the world would have been like without him? someone should flip that lens and show what life in this country would look like without all the different cultures, backgrounds, and communities that built it. No music as we know it. No incredible food traditions. No art, no innovation, no comedy shaped by different lived experiences.
