@kate.jm25: Now that the 2026 Olympics are over, I really realize how horrible and unfair the 2022 ones were. Eteri trained three skaters of exceptional level, but there was only one gold medal. Now Alisa Ilyukhina, who is a good skater, has won the gold without breaking any records or doing really difficult jumps. Alexandra had so much pressure put on her shoulders. she was incredibly talented and they sabotaged her. I’m still glad that this year’s Olympics seem more healthy. Alysa genuinely had fun and it showed.
