Girl as a babysitter of 10 years please set a boundary. Just state that you dont mind staying longer than anticipated but you would prefer a heads up or if they need a flexible end time to also let you know ahead of time so you feel more prepared. Just a suggestion! Im sure youre an awesome sitter :) 🩷

Am I not the only parent who thinks this is rude(unless it’s something out of their control) ?? I over estimate how long we’ll be gone and still always rush home and still pays the baby sitter for the full time.

When I babysat as a teen I never cared when they came home because it just meant more money. There was one family that when they were late they would just double my hourly rate without me even saying anything.

I know I can’t be a babysitter because I would require payment beforehand and as soon as the scheduled time was up I’d be out of there. It would be too bad for the parents that they didn’t respect a schedule or my time and now there kid is left alone because they didn’t schedule a babysitter for that time.
