Dry polishing Best right after trimming the cuticle. You gently refine the cut so the skin regenerates smoother and often grows back slower. This shows the true result. No shine. No masking. Just technique. 💧 2. Polishing with water Gives a little extra exfoliation and reduces friction. The bit glides easier and the finish looks slightly softer. Great for certain skin types — but remember, you’ll only see the real finish once dry. 🧴 3. Polishing with cuticle oil or balm This can be done both before and after product application. If you do it before product, make sure you properly dehydrate the nail plate afterwards. No oil or balm should remain on the nail. This method is beautiful for dry or very dry skin clients — it hydrates while refining and leaves the skin looking smoother. If you do it after product application, add a drop of cuticle oil (or dry oil) and carefully refine around the nail to give that extra glow and smooth finish. Different methods. Different finishes.
