Here’s the Sound of Made in Italy Many of the surfaces you see here are finished by hand, following decorative techniques used in fine watchmaking. This is a look behind the scenes of the V5001, revealing the level of savoir-faire involved in its creation. What you see here is only part of the process, but a central one: the finishing, where the identity of the movement is defined. The upper bridges feature radial Côtes de Genève, enhanced by polished anglage along the edges, while the mainplate is finished with hand-executed micro-perlage, visible in the open areas. The wheels adopt a double-spiral finishing that adds visual depth to the gear train, while the balance bridge is characterised by horizontal étirage, underlining its structural role within the movement. In the end, the human touch is what makes the difference.
