I’ve heard peeps say that they can’t feel the quality of the fabrics with gloves on, and I agree, but I’m also a germaphobe and I’ve seen some really disgusting things— so I just constantly sanitize my hands and where bandaids on any open skin. Happy thrifting!

Also!! This is just my personal experience unfortunately, but people can be really nasty at the bins. PLEASEEEE for the good of humanity, try to be a nice person. No one is saying to give up the things you find or be a pushover. But please act like you have decorum and know how to interact with others in public. And if someone is being ridiculous and/or rude, speak up for yourself— say something to the staff so individuals like that don’t ruin the experience 💗

I do wear gloves when digging in everything except the clothes. I’m short and can’t reach the back of the bins so I always find a pair of tongs or something that I can reach with. Find a reusable bag in the bins to put your stuff in. Wear chapstick, hydrate and ponytail!

Those gloves are not the best for the bins...😬 I was just there the other day and there was some rusted needle things in the bin the other day and the lady next to me poked through her thin glove. 🫠 It definitely made me rethink my knit gloves. 😂 That were BROWN after I left. Which tells you how nasty everything is.

My bins doesn't allow food or drinks in there. I found a dead mouse once on a vintage hat I picked up. I screamed lol.
