As a Haitian woman myself, I don’t agree with the comments that were made towards black Americans. It was really uncomfortable to watch, and I’d like to apologize on behalf of any Haitian who has ever made a negative comment. Not all Haitians feel this way, and it’s sad that we’re generalized due to some people’s perspective. Also, there are parts of Haiti that are actually really nice and clean; the media shows what it wants. Nevertheless, I love my black dowwwwwn, baby. I learned lots of swag, music, and much more from my black Americans when I first came to America. We love ya’ll, and we are one. Let’s not be divisive, and let’s love on one another. We’re all brothers and sisters at the end of the day.❤️💯🖤

I wanted to type something so hateful in response to her. But then I remembered I have a friend who is Hatian and she put me in to Hatian culture. Every time I went to BK to visit I always had a time. She and her family have always been welcoming to me. I've been to her cookouts. The food, the music, and her family just beautiful. For goodness sake, she introduced me to Sweet Micky and he's always in my Playlist 😂. I have an old co-worker who is from Zimbabwe. I've learned so much from her. She's invited me over and made the most delicious goat stew. She's well traveled and very intelligent. I've learned so much political information about Zimbabwe and issues pertaining to her country and Africa alone. It's very important to remember that ppl like this woman in the podcast do not represent the whole. For some reason negative and divisiveness becomes more viral than positive messages and images on this app/social media.
