I got a question about whale eyes. Is the difference between whale eyes and normal eyes the direction of the dogs head? From what i’ve seen it seems that an easy way to spot a whale eye is if the head isn’t moving with the eyes, is that correct?

My 6 month old boxer puppy lunges and gets excited when he sees other dogs, he gets plenty of training and exercise even before the walk. He doesn’t bark or growl and other dogs but does get stiff at fixate.. what do I do🥲

Training a dog is literally ABA therapy! I have an autistic five year old whom we are working on behaviors with and one thing that works is exactly this. We sit and wait until calm and then you get what you want 👏🏻

Mine is the opposite, loses his shit at the door inside the house and the yard if someone even walks by. Perfect on walks.

my dog aspen is a 3 year old rescue, i’ve had her since she was a puppy and the rescue failed to mention she had food aggression. i’ve brought her to trainers and each time the problem wasn’t corrected. she also will randomly have reactivity to anyone just petting her. do you have any tips?

The problem with mine is that my apartment building is what sets him off so I can’t even avoid it and half to literally go in the elevator and through the lobby in order to go outside because he knows there’s dogs that are in the building

Signing up! We live in Istanbul, Türkiye and i’ve been a long time follower, I just adopted a dog off the streets here a couple months ago and after living with me for a couple months, she has now developed extreme reactivity to other dogs. The only dog she is kind too is the other dog in the house. If we were in the US, I would absolutely do Boot Camp with you.
