You're making feel a lot better about letting my mom drag me to the doctor recently and also that one time I made my sister take me to the ER and she thought I was overreacting. I had a 101° fever that was 102° after taking ibuprofen and Tylenol.

in my 20 is GP very nicely chewed me out for not coming in for a month and a half for a terrible honking cough after the initial illness ended. I had to use an inhaler and do treatments for like 2 weeks to let my lungs recover.

I am an adult and a mom and this is helpful, not because I always think I’m fine…but because I actually always think I have some deadly illness when I’m sick 😭

I rarely get a fever, same with my kids, so we def go to the dr as soon as our temperature increases. I don’t even get a fever when I have strep, which I’ve had twice in the last two months, no fever

Thank you❤️❤️❤️I just had a sinus infection that turned into bronchitis. Antibiotics and prednisone made it better...but then doctor thought I could have pneumonia!! And it all started with..."this is just allergy"😳 Starting to feel better...very slowly.

when I was 18 I had bronchitis for about 3 weeks, not improving but not worsening either. then one day I woke up feeling much worse! went to the doctor, got antibiotics, dr. said many people were getting pneumonia that year so it was good I came in. sure enough when winter break was over I heard of several people I knew having pneumonia over the holidays!

pulse oximeters are pretty cheap! you can check your O² anytime you're sick.

1. Oh I know I am sick I just don’t have time to deal with. 😂 2. When I do go in I am typically told it is a virus and just needs to run the course. So I only go in when it is very clear it is something severe.

Fever not coming down is not an emergency. Unless it’s 105 and higher it’s not a dangerous sign.

When my 2.5 year old had the flu she slept 95% of the day and I could not keep her awake. The doctors basically told me it is what it is...I don't get it
