Regent cinema in Marple is so lovely and still has an interval half way through films with ice creams brought out on a tray! It’s so retro and authentic, tickets are only £5 too!

I saw my first film there “Pete’s Dragon” in 1977. It was great news when it reopened as a cinema again

If you want retro go to Regent cinema in Marple. They still sell ice creams from a tray half way through. Sounds annoying but with 2 hour plus films it's also great for a wee break
