Stallone made 2 franchises that had the same exact issue. Rambo 1 was a perfect movie and ending. Rocky 1 was a perfect movie and ending. Both got bastardized into giant franchises that lost the point. That being said I love all of them 😂😂

I was 9 when I saw Rocky at the movie theater, and was upset that he didn’t win the fight. As an adult, I understand your analysis, and appreciate that him winning would have taken that message away.
