Some of these are not opinions. Amber would not have been in first place if she completed the 3Loop, she would have been in third place. And Ami was not underscored, she got many deductions for incomplete rotations. The 3A is what put her on the podium, but it's not enough to compete with Alyssa and Kaori who had much cleaner programs.

Ami has great jumps but that’s not all that goes into the technical score. Her free skate felt very juniorish but getting the olympic bronze in her debut season is an insane achievement!

as a fan of ami and alysa, i think ami could’ve scored a lot higher in the free and ended up third anyway. everyone was so close. i think she’s got great edges but her other pcs is kinda lacking and alysa skated 2 clean programs and had the skate of the night. if kaori and ami had both cleanly done their combinations, the results would’ve been different.

Sometimes when you think it is an over score it is actually part of the component score. Did the audience reacted and get into the performance, the judges do account for that in the component score. So yes Alysa earned it 100%.
