I love this analysis as a bravo fan who *just* started rhoc. You can tell at around s3-4 that there’s a huge tonal shift to the housewives shows that I grew up watching and it’s really interesting to me. I also love seeing how the rhoc housewives take this change with many of the OGs dropping out (Jeana straight up leaving during the 4th season) and others buckling under the pressure to bring more drama.

I did the RHONY bus tour back in 2018 (I think?), and they took us to this location! The Russian Tea Room. It was surreal lol. Fun fact: Madonna worked coat check there.
