I’m a fan of announcing the date and time off the drop … that way everyone has time to set an alarm or ask a friend to shop for them.

For limited drops, you could do a raffle. Where anyone can sign up for the chance to purchase. Then you send emails with a special link to the 60-80 people who “won” the raffle and they can buy them. At least then people who are less computer savvy have an equal chance! A lot of limited sneaker drops work that way.

I was at the museum of fine arts in Houston at the louvre exhibit looking at your brother’s work when I got the text. I did not catch them in time but that was a pretty fun coincidence. And for any houstonians — I’ve gone to that exhibit multiple times YOU SHOULD GO TO IT. AND THE FRIDA EXHIBIT TOO.

A lottery system for drops? We could enter our name at a particular time and then you close it and draw names. Don’t know how that works for actual transactions and getting people to pay. 🤷🏼♀️

Hi! I sell pieces weekly and most tend to sell out in the first five minutes. What works for me is to send out an email newsletter reminder of the lineup one day before and then an email when the shop is live. I always do my shop updates on the same day/time too so there’s predictability. Plus I share this info on social too.
