I love how Amy is given space to grow across the games - even her approach to Sonic evolves. One of my favorite aspects is how her once obsessive love becomes more mature over time - you can read it as softer, a bit more distant, but also much more believable emotionally. I especially love the moment in Sonic 06 when Amy defends Sonic from Silver - giving that speech and showing how much he truly means to her, and that she is more than just the obsessive fangirl we might have seen in the early 2D games. Not just a damsel in distress fangirl at her peak, but someone stronger and more defined.

I've read some comments somewhere saying that other ships with Amy doesn't make sense, cause her whole personality is Sonic. so shipping her with someone else would be destroying her personality. which is crazy cause we see Amy grow across games to be more than just a fangirl. she's growing to he her own person, yet people still don't see it

I think the Sonic X [the anime/series] version of Amy painted her as a crazy simp for Sonic, as far as I enjoy the show, they really did my girl dirty. I like her design and voice, but she is far more than a hopeless romantic simp that wants for Sonic's love.
