you can also skip all the openclaw/Claude drama altogether and use gobii.ai. it's open source so you can run it locally or if you are lazy like me, subscribe and not worry about setup. highly recommend. life changing.

I've not seen anyone complain about their keys, only OAuth. Not. One. Person. Anthropic is totally ok with that because they make bank. Now you can use your OpenAI Codex OAuth for Openclaw and why people (ahem) haven't bothered to say that is WILD.

This makes me feel better. It makes sense that they would want to favor their own client for their subscription service. A video I saw earlier very much mischaracterized this and made me quite concerned. And for people wanting their subscriptions to be portable. Fine I get that. But at some point, Anthropic is going to have to right-side-up their business model no matter how fun it is to light tokens on fire for free.
