let's say they're are different roles to the hashira, like tanks, damage dealers and supports. for example, someone like gyomei would be a tank for his insane durability. someone like sanemi would be a damage dealer because of his aggressive behaviour and high damage. but shinobu would be a support because she can do damage but it's little without her poison, plus she is the only hashira with medical training so that's why she's a support
