I'm Swedish and I wipe down my wheels if I'm using it inside (I'm ambulatory and have a different mobility aid indoors). I've looked at wheel covers and I'm curious of how they do, do they slip or no?

when my husband and I went to Japan, one of the hotels had wheelchair wheel covers! another one stored his chair at the front desk and gave us a hotel chair to use indoors.

The one for outside and one for inside makes sense because otherwise you are using the same wheel chair that is rolling in a public bathroom to roll around your house

I wipe/clean my wheels too! I always worry of treading dirt inside. Plus I inspect the wheels for any small pebbles in the treads to get them off so they don’t scratch the floor.

The few years I couldn’t walk, I had an inside set of crutches and rollator, and an outside set of crutches and rollator.

we don't do shoes inside in Canada, but a quick wipe of wheelchair/walker wheels is OK. My mom had 2 walkers but it was mostly b/c her outside walker didn't fit into the bathroom.

interesting! my mom has use it her legs but it's her knees so standing longer than a minute is impossible for her. she uses a power wheelchair for outside and a manual inside. she uses her legs and pulls herself around the house. the power is only for outside, and we store it right inside the front door.
