I had a birthing comb and I will have one again. I still ended up getting an epidural, but I was in labor for 30 hours before they would let me get the epidural. The nurses called my birth and comb my chew toy because I ended up biting down on it for the second half of my labor loved that thing and my tens unit.

I used one and did it all natural no medication and by the time I was 9cm my husband hands me the comb again and I threw it and said “this shi don’t work”😭🤣🤣🤣 (it does!) you just gotta be mentally strong too lol

I bought one and im gonna be 38 at his birth. It took me 6 years to get him so I doubt I'll get pregnant again.Does anyone know if I leave it at the hospital it they will donate it to another mom. They arent very expensive if I do need another.

I wish I would have know sooner. I grabbed my hubby’s shirt and the love handle underneath and squeezed but I couldn’t let go! I literally mouthed I’m sorry but I could not let go until the contraction ended 🤣

My nurse gave me two plastic ones while I was in labor and it absolutely helped. Making sure I have a wooden one the next time I give birth.

Ok SO interesting! I had no idea either but when I got a shot of novocaine at the dentist the hygienist tapped on my shoulder during the shot. Must be to change the focus of the area of pain! Had no clue!

Got induced with pitocin (and if you know about pitocin you know it makes those contractions hurt BADDD and makes them soooo close together), went without the epidural & used a birth comb, you can do it if you really set your mind to it!
