We need to do better. People don’t get it. This isn’t a shelter issue. This is a community issue. These dogs are in these situations because the laws are shit. Backyard breeders, greed and animal exploitation, not spaying/neutering etc. No shelter WANTS to euthanize a mom and puppies.

Don't hate on the shelters who are forced to make these decisions. Hate on the people who put her in this position. unspayed. sometimes the best thing we can do is cross them over the rainbow bridge for a better life. if people won't adopt, and over population exists these stories will continue.

The heartless way some people treat their pets is disgraceful... This beautiful dog had done nothing wrong but have the wrong owner Please adopt a shelter dog, they're not there because they're bad just had bad owners. So sorry no one save her they'd have had a wonderful pet...😢

Thank you for doing what you do. Thank you for taking the time to post the video of Mamma Heart and her puppies. Even though their ending was heartbreaking, that video gave them visibility, dignity, and love. Because of you, they were seen and they were loved. They mattered. I can only imagine how hard this must have been to share. I volunteer at my local shelter. They don’t e*thanize for space and it’s hard enough as is. I cannot imagine volunteering where sweet babies may not be there the next day due to space. Thank you for caring enough to tell their story. 💔🐾

My heart is broken for her (and you). I want to help make a change so bad it feels like a never-ending uphill battle. no matter how many we pick up how many we save how many we coordinate rides and rescues fosters and rehoming and returns and all of these things and it just never feels like it makes an impact, but the each dog these individual relationships are so important and beautiful. Thank you for loving her and caring about her before she left this ghetto planet.
