Likely the new hyperbaric oxygen treatment chamber, which they stated publicly they’re expanding that treatment facility. They’re usually just a singular tube. BUT Mayo is one of the only places in the US that has big enough chamber to treat multiple people at a time. I’ve been treated in the multi person hyperbaric chamber after major surgery a few years ago. There were 6 of us patients and 2 nurses in “the pod”. There needs to be strict spacing requirements for everyone inside due to fire risk. It’s used to speed up healing processes in difficult surgical cases but also the only way to treat carbon monoxide poisoning. I think this new one is supposed to be able to treat double the people at a time.

Mayo Clinic almost ☠️me after I had my daughter. With my second, they sent me a LETTER six months after his birth to inform me that my son was going to be registered in the states database for birth defects. He spent 2 weeks in the NICU and I asked questions constantly about his health. There was never a mention about a birth defect. When I called about the letter, they were extremely dismissive and rude. A conspiracy about Mayo? I’m in. They are awful.

I am in MN and worked in healthcare for over 35 years. With my own health issues I have been pushed away from Mayo from those that have been affiliated. I worked for a renowned drug treatment facility and always heard so much about Mayo in connection with Mayo. I don’t have much trust.

the only logical thing I can think of is if they were building a proton center for radiation cancer treatment. There's not many in the states and I could see Mayo Clinic wanting a proton center, assuming they don't have one already. It requires some large equipment 🤷♀️that's the only logical thing I can think of

Imagine the cost of the permits, and insurance coverage the trucking company had to pay to haul this. Consider the route planning involved to make sure there’s no damage to a bridge/overpass.
