@jadesbitesuk: ~ S O F T ~ P I L L O W Y ~ S U B R O L L S ~ 🥖✨ Bigger, longer, just as fluffy — the perfect homemade sub rolls every single time. No shortcuts, no compromise. Ingredients: 660ml warm water 4 tbsp olive oil 2 x 7g sachets fast-action yeast Pinch of sugar 850g strong bread flour 16g fine salt Extra flour for shaping Method: Mix warm water, olive oil, yeast & sugar. Stir and leave for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour and mix halfway, then add salt. Bring together into a soft dough. Cover and rest for 30 minutes. Stretch and fold the dough into itself with wet hands. Cover and rest 30 minutes. Repeat the stretch & fold once more, then leave to rise for 1 hour until puffy. Turn out onto a floured surface, divide into 6 pieces, and shape into long sub rolls. Place onto a tray, cover, and proof for 30–60 minutes until nicely risen. Bake at 200°C fan for 15 minutes until golden and hollow sounding underneath. 💡 Top Tips: Use strong bread flour. Don’t rush the rise. Warm dough = fluffy rolls. 💡 Storage (because they won’t last long!): Fresh bread = best eaten same day, but here’s how to keep them soft: – Store in a paper bag, then place inside a container (airtight tub, cake tin, bread bin — whatever you’ve got!) – Keeps fresh for 1–2 days 💡 To refresh: Run lightly under cold water, then pop into a hot oven for a few minutes — soft, warm, like freshly baked again ✨ 💡 Freezing: – Keep out what you’ll eat in 1–2 days – Freeze the rest (well wrapped) – Defrost & reheat as above for best results Simple, budget-friendly, and so worth it 🤍 Much Love, Jade x

Have you ever tried them with Gluten free flour? Tempted to try, but need to build myself up for the likely disappointment 😭
