I don’t agree with what you’re saying about rainy season as my son lives in Phuket and we have been in the months your talking about and it’s a bit like Florida rains for an hour and then stops

every july 4 years in phuket, no problem, out of season best time to visit, not crowded, good prices, no need to reserve anyrhing in advance

Rainy season sees torrential rain for about an hour in the morning then it’s baking hot and dried within half an hour, same in the aft (sometimes) and at night. Ive never experienced constant rain, only shot sharp bursts
