Cross and just said "read this." no context nothing. i read it in two days and now i understand why she didn't wanna explain over text. the way D. Cross breaks down how systems of control actually operate is insane. not insane like crazy. insane like why doesn't everyone know this

my coworker told me to read book The Silent Dominion by D. Cross and said "just don't talk about it at work." i thought she was being dramatic. read it over the weekend and now i get why she said that. this book breaks down how systems actually work vs how we're told they work. like WHO is really pulling the strings and why we're always the last to know. i look at everything differently now
