It was so amazing. I genuinely adored the relationship between Freya and Anton. The flirty banter had me kicking my feet. “I don’t want to be without him. I don’t want to go it alone. But I want to be… enough”. My heart broke when Freya said this. You absolutely want Freya to feel loved and everything that is positive so this movement where she was so fragile, you could really feel for her. Both Freya and Anton went into their relationship already knowing one another. I enjoyed seeing them work through their individual traumas and still managing to find a way to fuse themselves together, working out what they truly want in one another's lives. The protectiveness from Anton was everything. It felt just right and so natural and I was here for it. “You’re the most perfect woman I’ve ever met”. The thoughtfulness between Freya and Anton was absolutely so sweet. Their story felt so real to me and I was fully invested in every sentence of their journey. “I don’t need it anymore. You’re my true north now”. This was another moment that was dripping with absolute sweetness. It was lovely to read Freya and Anton as parents. Seeing Anton's relationship with Faith was wholesome, I am glad that it worked out that way with Anton having a mother figure back in his life. Seeing them having the family they deserve is so pure. I really enjoyed that this romance book had some crime/mystery in it. I love this genre of book too so I enjoyed having this aspect incorporated into Freya and Anton’s story. It added another level to the story. I loved how badass Freya is. Heavily pregnant and still fighting crime. Thank you to Grey’s publishing for this opportunity to receive this book as an e-book 💗
