I love the realness, and the fact you said “it gets so much better” my son is 7 now but when he was little and I was struggling I just got the “wait till he’s older” etc like great thanks 😂

I remember our first night home from the hospital when she was 6 days old (long story!) and I was convinced the curtains were blowing in our room.... we don't have curtains only blinds. my husband was like urrrrm.... I'll take the baby for bit, you get some sleep! 🫣 what a crazy time! now 2.5yrs later I can laugh, but hooooooo boy was it tough!!!

I remember the health visitor saying I'll be over after lunch but never told me when lunch was or how much over she'd be. It used to drive me crazy!

I must say 15 years of working night shift for a week at a time, and constant roster changes completely prepared me for the lack of sleep i got having a baby! I didnt struggle at all. But i would imagine being a "normal person" whos sleep schedule gets completely turned upside down would be hard!
