Business brother… it’s a license deal. YT doesn’t pay a set amount, that number is different on a monthly basis. Netflix paid a set number for a set period of time. Also it helps Netflix because the goal is to bring more eyes, views and subscribers to one hub. I agree I rather watch on YT as a consumer but for licensing and following the trend that is proven to work… Netflix trying this is smart. And if you notice, they are still on YT and some pods on Patreon. It can definitely help profit

YouTube got the bigger engagement , the views , comments , likes , etc . Netflix is just a bag but it got people talking for the moment if that makes sense
