Hershey's just openned themselves up to a lawsuit. All anyone needs to do a take a wrapper from 1986, 1996, 2006, 2016 and 2026 and the difference in recipe is evident on the ingredients list.

there is a food scientist on here that I think did a video on the ingredients change on the wrapper. there are very big differences in a wrapper from 2016 to today. they cut a corner that is cheaper on product but at the expense of the flavor

They may have chocolate and peanut butter in the product, but the percentage is no where near what the product tasted years ago. Making the candy now taste very different... disgusting.

Hershey changed the recipe for a regular Hershey chocolate bar, so I would think changes the Reese Cup recipe wouldn’t be beyond them. 🤔😉

Reese’s was my favorite until when they started tasting off at first it was like they switched vendors of peanut butter but it got worse now they taste like chemical slurry with very little actual peanut or chocolate in them.

Side note: look at the grandson’s last name. It’s Reese. Because it’s his family’s peanut butter cups. It’s Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Reese’s has been my favorite candy since I was little. When I was tiny the only candy I would eat was chocolate and usually it was Reese’s that I went for. Whether it was Reese’s pieces or the peanut butter cups, eggs, trees, pumpkins, etc. and Hershey’s you can lie to reporters but you can’t lie to my (and many others) taste buds.

I’m 60. Been my favorite since I was little and will no longer buy Reese’s! It tastes like trash! All greedy companies “value engineer” their products and take ever cent out of it that they can. Turn good products into crap.
