They definitely were. Thank you for posting this, my uncle recently passed way. This made me think about the good things he saw during those last few moments. Besides my mother, he was that older family member I always wanted to hand out with. Over the past 5 yrs or so one thing that was a constant I could look forward to was playing golf with him & a couple of my brothers every weekend. No matter how frustrated we would get at ourselves for bad shots, it only lasted a few steps back to the cart and he would have us cracking up.
