As someone who adores kids, worked as a nanny for 8 years preparing for my own, and who now has one, it is the most fulfilling thing in the world to me. But if you don’t actively want kids, don’t have them, because children deserve parents who are 1000% in their decision and who WANT to devote all of their time and energy to them. It’s better to be a little sad about not having a kid you sort of want than to be a child who feels unwanted

I’m so tired, my hair hasn’t been washed in a week, don’t remember the last time I sat down for a meal without being interrupted, I’m constantly overstimulated and touched out but they’re my pride and joyyyy🥰🫶🏼 little blessings you HAVE to have kids! 😅

I have 1 kid. That’s enough for me. He’s the light of my life….but I seriously am struggling with the lack of sleep for like 2 years now at this point. It’s been so long since I’ve had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

I think what people mean when they say this is it's fulfilling in the longterm, but for at least 10 - 15 years, it doesn't always feel like it 😂🤣 But if you can get through those years, then yes it is rewarding.
