Should not be over the counter. I have QT prolongation issues and zofran is very dangerous for me to take. If o took it, not knowing I had that issue- I’d be in trouble

Make it otc but with similar restrictions to sudefed and limit the box size to like 4. Sometimes I have a horrible upset stomach and trying to keep something down for a morning… and no ginger isn’t enough

I am on Mounjaro for T2D and the first 48 hours after the shot can be miserable. When ginger chews and mint tea don’t work, Zofran is amazing.

Yassssssss. I’m an ER nurse and I always tell people to fill that script even if they don’t feel nauseated anymore. There will be a time when someone in their house is up puking at 3am and they’re gonna wish they had it. I work with a doc who has a very similar spiel about droperidol. I always know when he’s on because those orders go through the roof. 😂

Omg I had a resident order 2mg of zofran bc he was afraid of QT prolongation. On an adult human in ICU. SMH. 🤦🏼♀️2 mg. What’s next 4units of insulin for a DKA?
