my uneducated guess was also age due to him just finishing molting :( figured he had no energy left. you took such good care of him!!! literally the most well taken care of shrimp I've ever seen in my life ❤️❤️

I have one of my blind cave tetras preserved. And recently I lost my Betta of 3.5 years. I allowed the shrimp in the tank to clean his body until I was left with the skeleton. I have that in a jar now♥️
