It would depend on a few different things. 1. define making out 2. the region 3. the type of tree. Now a slight kiss would not make much of a difference, French kissing does open the door to some potential harm. Warmer regions often see a wider arrange of bugs and thus a higher chance of coming across a harmful one, e.g. certain caterpillars or ticks Choosing a suitable tree is most important, a tree with a healthy and smooth bark will provide the least risks. Allowing you to clean a kissing spot and check for any bugs. Most dangerous are fungi, mushrooms can be found on dead bark, but some fungi also grow on living wood and can be quite dangerous to humans. Choosing a tree free from mushrooms is paramount. That being said trees (or their bark) aren't inherently dirty spaces as long as you keep above a reasonable height where a dog could not piss on it, it is unlikely you'll become gravely ill.

Oh you'll be fine. Just look first to make sure there aren't bugs where you kiss. Wipe your mouth between takes if there's dirt or wood or moss in your mouth. I would advise against swallowing that just for Comfort. I grew up in the woods and I've face planted into roots enough times to know you'll be fine.

If you're truly worried, get a spray bottle with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and spray the area down first. It should evaporate pretty quickly, so it shouldn't affect any photo/video recordings...
