i’ve seen so many people argue one or the other is wrong in this interaction when in reality they’re both pretty gray. should robby have told him this tight before they recieve a patient (causing langdon to be distracted) no, probably not. but langdon also should not have brought it up right then and there. robby clearly didn’t want to talk about it while on a shift together, having avoided langdon all day. there’s a time and place.

As a Langdon defender, i was 100% with Robby on this. Im super happy Langdon’s still in the Pitt, but he surely wouldn’t have come back without Robby’s defense and lack of pressing charges. This damn Dad and golden child dynamic has me rolled in a ball

im finding it hard not to understand robby (bc i prefer langdon much more) but at the same time this was not the right time for robby to say something like this as all. theyre about to treat an intensive wound patient and even if langdon was pushing the conversation, if robby was any good at communication (which he's not) he could have said "this is not the right time we'll speak about it later". however, instead he risked the safety of his patient by knocking langdon off his game so he could be petty, hes just as selfish as langdon was when he was stealing meds perhaps even more so bc langdon didnt feel like he had a choice, robby knows he does and in turn hes a complete hypocrite.

I get both sides I totally get both sides but at the end of the day they are dealing with life and death all the time and having a doctor betray your trust like that I don’t think there is any come back for that I’m not saying Langdon is a terrible doctor he is amazing but he made mistakes and so has Robby they both have faults is what I’m trying to say

Emotional maturity is understanding Langdon is also going through a real tough time and he's pretty much suffering here because he admired Robby so much. he's spent this whole episode trying to make amends and was forgiven. The drugs he took were bogus additions for himself. Robby is being mean.

It wasn't the time or the place, but Robby hadn't given Langdon a second to discuss the matter. He doesn't have to forgive him, but he is letting his own feelings affect the work and the atmosphere for everyone by publicly excluding Frank. Everyone knows what Langdon did, and yet he was still allowed to return. Robby can decide they're not going to be friends again, but he can't interfere and hinder his work how he has been doing this season.
