Pistachio Ashta Filling • 1 liter milk • 1 cup heavy cream or whipped cream • 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (or sugar to taste) • 1/2 to 1 cup pistachio cream 2/3 cup corn starch Instructions: Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Let it cool, cover, and refrigerate overnight. (Tip: If the mixture is too firm or lumpy, blend it until smooth before using). Assembly (Osmaliye) Assemble by placing a layer of toasted kataifi, followed by 2 cm of ashta cream and a layer of pistachio cream. Top with another layer of kataifi. Finally, coat with chocolate 🍫 and drizzle with attar (simple syrup) if desired.
