The loss of affordable smaller vehicles is what’s killing the used market. Not everyone needs a $30k+ car. I’m commuting in it and need it to be reliable and good on gas. That’s it. The end.

can we take a minute and think about how wild it is to be using the phrase "in today's money" about 6 years ago!? We used to only bring it up when talking about things like 50 years prior. Inflation is out of control

I still have my 2019 Honda Fit... I just saw a local dealership selling a 2018 for almost $20k! I know if i were to trade it in, I wouldn't even get half that...

I remember I worked hard to get the 19 Honda Fit Sport with a manual, with the body kit, as a semi-broke pizza delivery driver it seemed fun enough and I was just getting into cars. It like 16000. I got a Elantra 6 speed for 9000 as no one wants manuals anymore lol

I adore my 2014 honda fit that I got as my first car. I am turning 27 soon and still drive it. Other than regular maintaining, it has cost me less than $500 in repairs in its whole life.

I always thought I would replace my 2015 fit with a new fit when it got on the older side but now I just have to keep driving it into the ground because there is no other new car that seems like an upgrade.

I bought a 2005 Honda Pilot LX for $500 and absolutely love it. Nothing fancy, but it’s a great getting around town car (other than the abysmal mileage).

Nah. I’ll stick with ‘ol reliable. A big lifted truck with 33” mud tires. Super crew preferable.

Honda still makes the Honda Fit and sells it everywhere... except here 😔 The Fit is also a hybrid now so it's more efficient than ever. They're focused on the larger vehicles like the Pilot and Passport here instead and now the smallest car you can get is the Civic which is as big as the Accord used to be

Honda kept the FIT around for quite a long time, but consumers were buying massive suvs instead
