I’m almost certain it is mold - happens when the cutting board get soaked with water - and then aren’t dried well enough, make sure you don’t put wood cutting boards in the dishwasher they should be hand washed because when they go in the dishwasher (not that you do that) but if you do, they get even more drenched and never fully dry hence mold, regardless wood cutting boards shouldn’t be submerged in water for too long - a nice short soapy scrub and then pat to dry and air out 💜

I’m surprised by the judgment here. Islam is a compassionate religion and provides rukhsahs for pregnant and breastfeeding women and for the sick. If someone chooses not to fast and Allah allows it, that is a legitimate decision made for the wellbeing of themselves and their family. It's similar to menstruation, women still live their lives, but are exempted from fasting. This mother is nurturing for her child and chose what’s best for her family. Let’s respond with kindness and understanding rather than criticism.
