@poornabell: Normally would’ve planned a lot more like a trip to an art gallery or shopping but the weather was ATROCIOUS. It’s also been such a long time since I’ve done one of these but loved it. Most of all I love the care and thought I put into it. (Especially since I had a date with another human earlier in the week which was mid at best). The highlight was dinner at Angelina in Spitalfields - one of the top 5 meals of my life. Secret tip (I didn’t have a booking) is to show up as soon as they open. I got a seat at the counter and a gorgeous view of the chefs at work. Hotel was the @Sir Hotels Devonshire Square and was a comped stay as part payment for an event I did for them (I like a bit of transparency). Beautiful hotel - needs more rugs as London was/is freezing. Sincerely wished I hadn’t dropped a glass in the bathtub - can’t even blame it on drunkenness as I don’t drink 🥲 #london #solodate #solotravel #solodatenight
