oh she is so back. i havent been as invested in the simpler work from the past few seasons(of course important for iteration and not doing maximalism for maximalism sake but just not my cup of tea) this is my simone rocha💗💗💗

Love her forever, but I can’t stand Adidas, so I’m not blown away by this collection. Minus the adidas, I will still be shopping the collection though 😂

Always adore her collections and I don’t want to be that person who’s negative in the comments, but can we talk about size inclusivity? Simone’s ready to wear only goes up to size 10 (as far as I know) and so many of her designs would look amazing on bigger bodies. I know sometimes having too many sizes at once can be too expensive for emerging designers, but I feel like Simone isn’t “emerging” anymore. Do you have thoughts on this?

@Mandy Lee Have you ever done a piece on the cultural significance of corsetry/lace-up trends? And if not, would you? I’m really fascinated to hear what you think. My mind goes to constriction, fascia/nostalgia, reclamation, DIY, revelation as peekaboo vs transparency, and sex qua marketing (for other products) not qua commodity itself. Yikes I guess it’s an essay
