When I had Covid while pregnant I ended up with heart palpitations. It’s been a little over 4 years since then and I still randomly get them. I ended up doing a 48hr heart monitor i literally had leads everywhere and couldn’t shower. I also ended up having an allergic reaction to the adhesive from the patches they put on me😩

I’m allergic to adhesives so I get those rashes from all things even bandaids 🥲 it’s truly the worst. Got cellulitis last time I was in the hospital cause of the tape

it's even more painful taking it off if you have an allergic reaction to the tape and you form blisters. I still have scars 😭

My cardiologist and neurologist just wrote me off a small white girl having mild issues being dramatic… he said what do you want to do about this and I said I don’t want to keep going into tachycardia and he said well we can’t do anything about that.

Do they think you have POTS from long covid? It has become pretty common unfortunately. I was diagnosed before covid started.

if you call they’ll send you ones with different adhesive! i had a really bad allergic reaction to the original adhesive

Thank you for sharing this! I got mono 1.5 ago and have had sooo many complications since then. I’m also dealing with some cardiac issues and am waiting on a cardiology referral. I’ve been worried about wearing holter monitor and how to manage it, so I really appreciate you showing this process. I wonder if baby oil or something similar would make it hurt less to remove the tape, I know that works for things like KT tape, but who knows for medical grade sticky goo
