Here is what I learned reading the text: When different people from different times speak about the same event, it tells you just one thing, the event most likely took place, and in this case the census. However, the exact number could differ due mainly to those reporting it (Some were participatory. Others were told about it as a form of a circulatory story). A modern example: The coach of Barcelona, Hansi Flick, played a certain number of games and scored 100 goals or a little over. The reports were never the same in terms of the goals scored. Does that mean Hansi Flick and Barcelona didn't play the games? Another modern example: One of the biggest music artists in my country held a concert and people really showed up. In order to prove that he's probably the biggest, as opposed to his rival artist, the reports were that over 1 million people showed up, other reports said 400k, others too said 720k. Does that mean the artist didn't play the show? My point is, clearly, the event must have happened to even influence the varying reports. Without the event, who cares about reporting? The contradictions authenticate the event. My two cents ✌🏾

The Bible isn’t just a book to me, it feels like a map of the universe that’s been layered, translated, and, in many ways, veiled over time. If there are “secrets,” I think they’re less about hidden codes and more about perspective, about unplugging from what we’ve been conditioned to believe and learning to think, feel, and connect for ourselves. Truth isn’t something handed to us fully formed… it’s something we uncover piece by piece.
