Hi Dr. , I’m reaching out because I have a chemical burn on my face from using Veet Legs & Body Gel Cream. left it on for 6minutes. My face is very red and painful, and even splashing it with water causes a sharp burning sensation. I’ve been applying Aquaphor, which helps, but I'm worried about scarring or long-term marks since my skin is so reactive right now. I've attached photos of the area. Could you advise if I should use a prescription cream or if there are specific steps I should take to prevent hyperpigmentation or spot?
