@sorevale: The human body is a self-regulating biological system composed of trillions of cells that coordinate through electrical impulses and chemical signals. Organs such as the heart, liver, and kidneys perform specific tasks, yet they function as part of an integrated whole. Even transplanted organs can adapt to a new body if immunological conditions are met, continuing their physiological role. This demonstrates that many bodily functions are based on cellular compatibility rather than personal identity. Consciousness, however, is closely tied to the brain. The brain generates perception, memory, language, and the sense of self. At the same time, most of its activity remains unconscious. It regulates breathing, circulation, hormonal balance, and emotional responses automatically. What we experience as the “I” is only a small fraction of the total neural activity taking place. This layered structure was described by Sigmund Freud in his structural model of the psyche. He distinguished between the Id, which contains instinctual drives, the Ego, which mediates between impulses and reality, and the Superego, which represents internalized norms and values. Although Freud’s model is psychological rather than neurological, it reflects an important insight: the human mind is not unified. There are processes within us that act without our awareness, influence our behavior, and shape our decisions. The paradox lies in the fact that the brain, as a biological organ, produces consciousness, yet it does not fully reveal its own operations to that consciousness. The system that generates knowledge about the body is itself part of the body. Humans study neurons, hormones, and genetic codes, while these very mechanisms enable the study. In this sense, life appears as a mystery: an organism that functions automatically, sustains awareness, and then turns that awareness back onto itself in an attempt to understand how it works. #human #body #riddle #humananatomy #mystery

as someone whose main subject is biology and health, it makes me terrifyingly aware of my bodily functions. so many things are happening at the same time inside us, while not feeling it happening and that thousand to million times, every second…

guys i’m about to go to sleep but now i’m shitting myself because i hate this audio and now the comments have made me spiral about how the concept of our souls or consciousness always just being trapped here is insane to me and i hate the concept of forever like wdym it just never ends and theres nothing you can do to escape death? i genuinely hate how theres nothing outside of the black nothingness with no light and just the absence of all particles and all matter just forever and forever and it’s not even in a place it just goes on forever and nothing exists outside of it. why did i decide to comment this now i’m just spiralling more.

Did you know the when ur body digests things and when it moves through ur intestines it is actually very painful but ur brain somehow blocks it out, also you can smell ur lungs but ur body gets used to it, did you also know that if we could itch our organs we would rip them out bcs of how itchy it would be but our brain somehow blocks it out

seriously though!!! like how exactly does our brain control everything about us, without us even having to think about it. our brains move our body without us having to think about moving our body

We are just souls trapped in a sentient body that can speak and communicate, the closest thing there is to that is birds, we share a trait with birds. We are animals, just not the type of animals that we think of.
