@casabolanos: The apartment hunt has begun 😵‍💫 While I haven’t really experienced any culture shocks because I’ve spent the last 12 years traveling to Colombia, I didn’t expect having to list an OVEN as an apartment amenity 😅 I’m 99% sure most of our family here have ovens but never use them, and they’re not standard necessarily in Colombian apartments. Colombian recipes don’t really call for baking 🤷🏻‍♀️ If your apartment is not amueblado (aka furnished), you might need to buy an oven, washing machine, and even fridge yourself. Yes, even when renting! That’s a big difference than in the U.S. when those are standard appliances included in rentals/home sales What do you want to know about apartment hunting in Medellin?
