I think traveling to China takes a lot more research than most foreign countries, but it’s soooo worth it. For example, you need a visa, you cannot just pay with your credit card, Google / Google Maps don’t work, you need their specific “uber” app, etc. But if you’re willing to put in the effort it is an out of this world experience
