Our government seems willing to displace the rightful people of this land while allowing those here illegally to act without consequence. As a community, as a nation, we are not showing nearly enough outrage. We must recognize the gravity of this injustice and rise together with the urgency it demands. What they call democracy is nothing more than a banner waved to keep people under control.
