My daughter applied to majority HBCUs and a few PWIs. She is choosing a PWI because she was offered more money to attend. She knows how to carry herself and knows how to hold her own and this PWI won’t dim or diminish what she’s already learned and will become.

At an HBCU because they teach you values and how to conduct yourself. We had business suits Wednesdays. Freshman year you have a right of passage ceremony and blk women love fierce blk man. I love my HBCU, we learned how to speak in public. My friends that went to a PWI faced racism and discrimination.
