Back before i was a completely straight natural. I’d straighten my hair and keep it for two weeks and then do a curly natural style for the other twos weeks. It helped take away some of the stress of doing my curly hair while i thought about switching. My curls stayed in tact

Girrrrlll I feel you!! I am a full natural girl and have been consistently for at least 6-7 years. I would literally only straighten my hair 1 a year. But now I’m like uhhhh I’m over curls I just want to be a natural straight hair girly!!

Now as a completely straight natural, i press my hair every week and I’d say keep your scalp healthy and find a good clarifying shampoo. Be careful too bc heating tools especially the flat iron can cause traction hair loss (like when you see your parts getting a lil wide). So just make sure you’re keeping your hair strong!
