Wasn’t preached by Jesus or the Apostles. In the following scripture: 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. This does not indicate that there are three persons, God is a spirit is what the scriptures indicate. But the three are the attributes of God. The scripture says that God is our Savior, Redeemer and Healer but that doesn’t make him three persons. As a man my make up is body, soul and spirit but when you look at me you only see one. When God came in the likeness of sinful flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ in order to die for the sins of the world: Philippians 2:6-8 KJV Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. God the spirit could not die, but for the atonement notice it says the likeness. St John says: John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. That’s why Jesus could Declare: I and my Father are one, and when you have seen me you have seen the Father. According to 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. In Jesus the name of the Father was revealed. John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Luke 2:21 KJV And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
