Disagree that you can’t buy the plug separately, there will be a part number on that plug which you will be able to trace through Mouser or Digikey to find it. They will also have matching terminals for what you need. Your electrician should have checked the CAN network in the first place to see if it was open or closed network which would have saved a lot of time.
